Sharon Pride Steering Committee
The Sharon Pride Steering Committee was formed early in 2022 and is a community-led organization committed to fostering diversity, equity, inclusivity, belonging, and justice in Sharon, Massachusetts, through creating, sustaining, and advocating for programs, policies, and services for the Sharon Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Nonbinary, Intersex, Asexual, plus (LGBTQ+) community and to educate and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community with the greater Sharon community. The Sharon Pride Steering Committee’s core focus is the LGBTQ+ Pride Month celebration and advocacy efforts, with a vision to sponsor events throughout the year. The SPSC recognizes the complexity of intersectionality issues within the LGBTQ+ community, and we strive to highlight this to achieve social justice goals.
