Programs
We are proud to provide wrap-around support to these programs and organizations that work tirelessly to tackle important social and environmental issues. Our incubation services aim to provide the necessary resources and assistance to help these missions grow, establish sustainable practices, and make a positive difference in their communities and beyond.
Trauma Youth Support Services
Trauma Youth Support Services (TYSS) is dedicated to supporting caregivers of youth experiencing mental health crises. Caregivers are the foundation of a young person’s recovery, yet their own well-being is often overlooked. At TYSS, we believe that empowering caregivers not only strengthens families but also improves outcomes for youth. Our mission goes beyond individual support—we are committed to addressing systemic racial inequities in healthcare. Marginalized communities face disproportionate challenges in accessing mental health resources, and TYSS is determined to challenge and disrupt these inequities. By promoting fairness and equity, we aim to create meaningful and lasting change for all families in need. One of our core initiatives, the J.R. Program, provides vital support to caregivers during some of their most challenging times—when a child is in crisis or admitted to a hospital or mental health facility. Through this program, we offer complimentary self-care gift baskets thoughtfully curated to nurture caregivers' physical and emotional well-being. These baskets serve as a reminder that their health matters, empowering them to practice self-care as they navigate their loved one’s mental health journey. At TYSS, we are building a community that uplifts caregivers, fosters resilience in families, and advocates for systemic change. Whether through partnerships, donations, or advocacy, your support helps us create a brighter future for caregivers and the youth they care for. Together, we can make a difference where it matters most.
Grief Alchemy
Grief Alchemy™ teaches college students to approach activism through a grief-informed lens. Activism isn't only about confronting past or present injustices; it’s about preventing future harm by addressing today’s inequities. Grief Alchemy™ encourages students to expand their understanding of grief, moving beyond immediate or tangible losses to include the fear of future loss. Whether it’s preventing the loss of lives due to inequitable healthcare, defending freedom from legal injustice, or safeguarding privacy against data misuse, participants are trained to protect against future losses. By recognizing how grief influences activism, students learn to be informed by grief rather than driven by it. Through transforming their relationship to grief and trauma, they become more effective advocates for social transformation. Upon completing the program, students are certified as Grief Alchemists™, empowering them to teach others this compassionate, transformative approach.
The Desmoid Project
The Desmoid Project was launched in September 2023 in response to an urgent need for patients’ unmet advocacy services and resources. Founded for patients, by patients, this organization’s mission statement is to enhance the quality of life for desmoid tumor patients, their families, and caregivers through comprehensive support and advocacy by creating a roadmap, developing resiliency tools, increasing knowledge, and empowering patients to navigate and thrive with this rare disease.
National Vehicle Residency Collective
The National Vehicle Residency Collective (“NVRC”) is a network of vehicle residents, social service providers, and legal experts joining together to support people living in their vehicles. Our goal is to honor and value the voices of vehicle residents, support their policy and service goals, and protect their legal rights. We believe that a key component of this work is to raise positive public awareness about people living in vehicles and vehicle residency.
