Our B.R.O.S.
Our B.R.O.S is here to uplift and empower men and boys of color through comprehensive support, mentorship, educational and job opportunities. We are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment that enables them to overcome barriers, achieve their fullest potential, and become catalysts for positive change in their communities and beyond.
Through strategic partnerships, tailored programs, and a commitment to addressing the unique challenges faced by men and boys of color, we strive to cultivate a generation of leaders, thinkers, and trailblazers. Our mission is rooted in the belief that by investing in their goals, we contribute not only to their personal success but also to the advancement of society as a whole.

National Vehicle Residency Collective
The National Vehicle Residency Collective (“NVRC”) is a network of vehicle residents, social service providers, and legal experts joining together to support people living in their vehicles. Our goal is to honor and value the voices of vehicle residents, support their policy and service goals, and protect their legal rights. We believe that a key component of this work is to raise positive public awareness about people living in vehicles and vehicle residency.
Detroit Institute for Law and Organizing
Our mission is to develop, pilot, and run campaigns in Detroit to combat anti-Black racism related to dispossession and displacement from housing and other property – and then provide templates, tools, and technology to partner organizations in cities nationwide to bring those campaigns to their communities.
Streets Is Watching Community Patrol Program
Our communities are our responsibilities & New Era's "Streets Is Watching" program is the epitome of that. For the first time since 2016, the City of Detroit reported more than 300 homicides in the FBI's annual crime report, with 328 homicides in 2020. That's a 17% increase from 2019, which had 280 homicides.
Rivers & Roads Maine
Creating a path to purpose for young individuals in Oxford county Maine who feel they have none. We are an agricultural, culinary and community based youth program for local teens attending Fryeburg Academy.
Writing in Color
Writing in Color is a free writing course for people of color. It was developed to create a space for people of color to learn the value of reading articles by writers of color as well as sharing their reflections as a class.
Families Creating Together
Families Creating Together is an award-winning, multigenerational, creative arts program serving children of all abilities and their families.
The Boston Food Access Council (BFAC)
The purpose of the Boston Food Access Council shall be to provide an equitable, community-centered platform for food access, affordability, and economic opportunity.
Emergency Management by Design
We partner with communities and non-governmental organizations to strengthen emergency management resources and capacity by optimizing plans, training and exercising staff, and enhancing resiliency.
